Internet Speed Test

Measure your real download speed with a timed test — no app required.

-- Mbps

Downloads a ~5MB test file and times it.

How the test works

We download a real ~5MB image and divide bytes by seconds — simple, honest throughput. For best accuracy: close other apps, use a wired connection if possible, and run 2–3 tests.

What speeds mean

25+ Mbps: smooth 4K streaming
10–25: HD streaming, video calls
Under 10: basic browsing, may buffer

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my speed lower than my plan?

WiFi overhead, distance from router, network congestion and VPNs all reduce real-world speed.

Does it test upload too?

This quick test measures download only — the direction that matters most for streaming and browsing.

Is my data used?

Yes — about 5MB per test, like loading a large photo.
