1. Our core promise

ZapTools is designed local-first: nearly every tool runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Files you open in our tools — images, videos, documents — are processed on your device and never uploaded to our servers, because we don't operate servers that receive them.

2. Information we collect

  • No accounts: we don't offer user accounts and store no names, emails or passwords.
  • No tool inputs stored: text you type, files you open and calculations you run stay in your browser's memory. The notepad tool uses your browser's localStorage on your own device.
  • Analytics: we may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and understand which tools are popular. This data is aggregated and never linked to individuals.
  • Contact emails: if you email us at muhammadyousafa396@gmail.com, we keep your message only as long as needed to respond.

3. Third-party services

  • Currency rates: our converter fetches public exchange rates from open.er-api.com. Your request goes directly from your browser to their API.
  • CDNs: open-source libraries (Tesseract.js, FFmpeg.wasm, QRCode.js) load from public CDNs (jsDelivr, unpkg, cdnjs).
  • SEO checker / channel lookup: these tools route a fetch through corsproxy.io so your browser can read public page HTML. We don't log these requests.
  • Advertising: we display ads via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to personalize ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies

We don't set our own tracking cookies. Third parties (AdSense, CDNs) may set cookies as described in their policies. The notepad's autosave uses localStorage, not cookies.

5. Children's privacy

ZapTools is a general-audience utility site not directed at children under 13. We knowingly collect no personal information from anyone, including children.

6. Your rights

Because we store essentially nothing about you, there's little to access or delete. For any privacy question or request, email muhammadyousafa396@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

7. Changes

We'll post policy updates on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
