By using ZapTools ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

2. What ZapTools provides

ZapTools offers free online utilities — calculators, converters, generators, and text tools — that run primarily in your browser. Tools are provided for general informational and productivity purposes. We do not provide professional financial, medical, legal, or engineering advice; results from calculators and converters should be verified independently before being relied upon for important decisions.

3. How the tools work

Most tools process your input locally on your device using JavaScript. Files and text you enter are not uploaded to our servers. A small number of tools fetch public data (such as currency exchange rates) from third-party APIs directly from your browser. Because processing happens on your device, results may vary slightly between browsers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the tools for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate wrongdoing;

• Scrape the Site aggressively with automated tools;

Third-party libraries used by the tools (such as Tesseract.js or FFmpeg.wasm) remain under their own open-source licenses.

Some tools rely on third-party services: public APIs for exchange rates, CDNs for open-source libraries, and Google AdSense for advertising. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.

ZapTools displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Ads are separate from tool functionality and do not constitute endorsement of advertised products or services.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Calculator and converter results are estimates — verify critical figures with qualified professionals or official sources.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZapTools shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on tool outputs — including financial decisions made using our calculators.
